The Savage XS Flux delivers everything you love about the Savage Flux - neck snapping power and standing backflips - in a mini size package! The over powered Flux brushless powerplant offers menacing speed runs, while passing the bashing exam with legendary Savage durability. Innovative TVP technology leads the class and provides the monster truck appearance and ground clearance needed to conquer anything in its path.

The compact Savage XS Flux is 2/3 the size of a standard Savage, so it's perfect for backyard tracks and smaller areas. This edition of the Savage XS Flux also features the amazing Ford SVT Raptor body! The Savage XS Flux is built Ford tough with an all-metal drivetrain so it can handle giant jumps and speeds over 65mph with 3S LiPo and optional gearing! The 4WD system provides excellent traction on any off-road or on-road surface you can throw at it. And it's all built with legendary Savage toughness so you spend more time driving and less time wrenching.

The Savage XS Flux is ready to go right out of the box, including a 2.4GHz radio system and 3S-capable Flux brushless system. Just add your favorite 2S or 3S LiPo battery pack and start driving!

Featuring the Ford SVT Raptor!
The Ford SVT Raptor is the high performance off-road version of the Ford F-150, the most popular full-size truck in the United States with over 16 million F-150 trucks sold since its introduction in 1948.The full-size SVT Raptor is a dedicated off-road truck, and HPI has replicated every unique feature of this performance-bred vehicle. This scaled-down version has the same grille design, engine vents, fender flares, short bed and even the 'digital mud' graphics of the full-size truck!

Waterproof Protection
The Savage XS Flux features waterproof protection for its electronics. The 2.4GHz receiver is safely stored in a waterproof receiver box, protecting it from the elements. The waterproof SF-10W steering servo and waterproof EMH-3S electronic speed controller complete the package. NOTE: the electronics are not designed for submerged operation. Be sure to rinse off any dirt or salt water with clean water immediately after driving. Check the receiver box to make sure no water is inside and let dry fully before driving again.

Tough "Savage style" TVP Chassis
The chassis for the Savage XS Flux is very similar to the nitro-powered Savage. The backbone consists of the TVP (Twin Vertical Plate) design, formed from two 5mm chassis plates, with the diff cases at either end providing significant stiffness and the transmission casing and motor plate forming load-bearing members of the structure.

LiPo Battery Power
The Savage XS Flux is designed to use 2S or 3S LiPo packs. The battery box features vents to keep the battery pack cool, and the ESC includes an official Deans® zero-loss battery plug. Out of the box, the Savage XS Flux is optimized for 2S Lipo Power. 2S gives the best balance of handling and performance. Standing backflips? No problem! But if you want to go for crazy top speed or brutal power upgrade to 3S LiPo batteries. However, be aware with that much power you've got to know what you are doing! Depending on what you want to do and where you want to run the car you will have to adjust the gear ratio. Option parts HPI105809 & HPI6924 are required for 3S in most situations like going off-road or doing stunt driving.

All-metal Transmission Gears
The Savage XS Flux features all-metal transmission gears to make sure that power delivery is uninterrupted and every jolt of power gets from the motor to the tires efficiently and with no worry of damage to the gears. The whole drivetrain runs on ball bearings for optimal efficiency.

Ultra Tough Over-sized Suspension
The over-sized suspension design makes the Savage XS extremely tough. Aluminum 12mm hex hubs allow the use of a variety of standard 1/10th scale wheels.

Silicone Filled Threaded Shocks
Four threaded shocks give the suspension action you need to blast through the roughest terrain. Filled with silicone oil, the slick nylon bodies are lightweight and strong, with almost no 'stiction' between the shock piston and shock body for smooth and consistent damping.

All-Terrain Tires
With the aggressive tread of the 2.2" GT2 tires, you can go off-road to on-road with predictable handling. The center tread lines give you stability on paved surfaces while the blocky tread pattern and heavy-duty sidewall teeth provide grip for off-road terrain. They're mounted on black chrome 2.2" Warlock wheels for tough monster truck styling. For maximum hop-up potential, the Savage XS Flux accepts a wide variety of 1/10th scale 2.2" wheels and tires, making customizing your truck easy.

Flux MMH-4000 Motor
The Flux MMH-4000 motor delivers massive power. Option pinion gears are available to fine-tune the speed and torque delivery, and the brushless design assures maximum performance with nearly no maintenance required.

Flux EMH-3S ESC
With the capacity to handle 2S and 3S LiPo power, the Flux EMH-3S electronic speed control can take anything you can possibly throw at it and keep coming back for more! The EMH-3S features an integrated cooling fan to keep it cool in tough conditions. The Flux EMH-3S ESC is reversible so you can back out of jams with ease. And for maximum adjustability it's fully programmable with the optional HPI101856 Flux Reload ESC Program Box V2.
